Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA)

Bikers Against Child Abuse has been launched in the UK and are seeking to build referral networks, ideally through partners who work with child abuse.

BACA is a free service and it is provided entirely by DBS-cleared, highly trained volunteers.  They are the UK arm of a worldwide organisation that was started in 1995 by a social worker in Utah.

Its purpose is to empower abused children to not fear the world in which they live.  All members go through an enhanced DBS security check, extensive training and development in working with children and in particular those with a history of abuse (physical, emotional, domestic, bullying).  BACA can only take on a child if their case is in the system.

Across the world BACA work alongside many local agencies and also take referrals from them.
