The CASM Project (‘Community Action and Social Media’) is researching the use and non-use of social media for community action among community groups in England. The project is being run by the Third Sector Research Centre at the University of Birmingham, UK, with support from the Barrow Cadbury Trust.
A questionnaire has been designed to find out what difference social media has made for voluntary groups or organisations and the wider communities they are involved with. We are also particularly interested in the reasons for non-use, so please take the time to respond even if you are not currently using these technologies.
