C.O.P.E is an independent not for profit community organisation founded by ex-service users who are in long term recovery from substance misuse.

COPE will be relaunching their Community User Forum on 1st April at Croft Street Community Centre, Baggeholme Rd, Lincoln, LN2 5AX where, as well as service users and families, services and professionals are invited to come in and showcase/talk about what they are doing in the community and how our members can get connected.

It will be a good opportunity for networking and there will also be an open forum Question and Answer session in the second part to encourage interaction and the sharing of the skills, support and information.

COPE, as the only service user group county wide, would like to know how they can help you, yourselves and your communities more productively and how you can work together to improve positive outcomes for people accessing a range of local services.

There will be a guest speaker from another recovery community and have speakers from the local community with their recovery stories and are expecting Public Health England, Health Comissioners and Advocates in Lincoln, The Amy Winehouse Foundation, DART, ADDaction, the Nomad Trust, VCA and representatives from the YMCA, and many others, in the community and nationally supportive of COPE’s work to attend.

If you’re interested in attending please contact Jilly Day, Operations and Volunteer Co-ordinator on 07925 343630
