Discover Your Potential

October 18 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

This free course is open to anyone over the age of 16, who is looking for work and considering volunteering as an option to develop skills. Sessions will run over three weeks, one day per week. Week 1 will be thinking about volunteering and how this can help you to achieve goals in other areas of your life. Week 2 will be looking at confidence building. Week 3 will be focusing on workplace skills, what employers are looking for and routes to employment and/or further training.

No previous experience of volunteering or employment is needed, nor any qualifications – just an interest in developing new skills that will help you  in taking the next steps towards your goals. The number of participants will be kept small and this will be a friendly, informal environment for learning. Lunch is included.
