A full day training sessions is available free to Lincolnshire practitioners who work either with adults or children who may be effected by domestic abuse.
The training looks at what domestic abuse is, what the risk is and how to identify it, assess it and man-age it internally, what to do with a disclosure of domestic abuse, who your local domestic abuse specialist service is and what they can offer your client. The training also looks at the MARAC Process for the high risk cases of domestic abuse and how to refer a client into this process if deemed appropriate.
There are 21 training sessions available from May 2015 to March 2016 across Lincolnshire, however, places will be highly sought after and will be on a first come first served basis after all elements of the below criteria have been achieved.
