Our commitment to your privacy
We’ve updated our privacy notice to explain how we collect, store and handle your personal information.
Why we collect your data
We want to give you the best possible service across Voluntary Centre Services and all our projects. For example, the data we hold about you helps us to tailor our services to meet your needs, provide you with the most appropriate support and keep in touch with you.
How we collect your data
We do this in a number of ways, such as when you share your information with us to find out about volunteering opportunities, book on to events or register for other projects/services.
How we store your data
Personal information is stored electronically and on paper. Databases use secure and password protected systems and paper files are stored in locked units to which only authorised people have access. It is only kept for as long as is necessary.
When we’ll share your data
We will sometimes share your data with other organisations as part of providing a high quality service to you. For example, if you want to be matched with a volunteering opportunity or a service provided by another organisation. We will never sell your data.
Know your rights
You have many rights regarding your personal data, including seeing what data we hold, and to make sure it’s accurate and up to date. These rights are also outlined in our privacy notice.
There’s nothing you need to do right now, but if you’d like to find out more, do take a look at our privacy notice or visit our website at any time.
