safeTALK ASIST Training

safeTALK is a half-day training in recognising when someone may be thinking of suicide and learning the steps to ask about suicide and connect people to appropriate support for further help. It offers a simple but effective first set of skills towards keeping people safe from turning suicide thoughts into suicide behaviours. SafeTALK is part of an international programme of training and awareness courses that is evidence based and fully evaluated, including the 2 day ASIST programme that teaches full intervention skills. Some who attend safeTALK go on to attend ASIST. We are also able to offer this programme.

safeTALK is available in Lincoln from 9am – 1pm on the following dates at a cost of £50 per person:

October 9th

November 13th

November 29th.
