Talent Match Lincolnshire Commissioning Opportunity – 7 x Talent Match Ambassador roles

Talent Match is a £1.1 million project funded by the National Lottery through the BIG Lottery Fund awarded in Greater Lincolnshire to support young people aged 18-24 that have been unemployed for 12 months or more.

The Talent Match Ambassador (TMA) and hosting role has developed over the project, recent evaluations have taken place and the current model that is being commissioned has worked very effectively for both employers and those young people being hosted at that organisation.

Currently the TMA’s work is split between Talent Match and the organisation, but this work is undertaken within the host organisation and supported by them to do, Talent Match work will normally be undertaken with the other TMAs and not done individually. There is a job description and person specification that will be used for the TMA role, but in general this role is to support the commissioning, marketing, evaluation and mapping across Lincolnshire for Talent Match and other organisations that request work activities to be undertaken through the TMA team.

TMAs are all members of the Core Partnership and attend the bi-monthly meetings and feed through the developments, activities and issues raised or gaps in provision across their areas.

They also attend the Delivery Partner meetings again to feedback activities and contribute to future objectives of Talent Match. The TMA roles do not require them to individually support or peer mentor other young people on Talent Match, this is the role of the Youth Advocate. Although they will be required to work closely with the Youth Advocates and the young people in the capacity of attending events, arrange activities and evaluation work etc.

The deadline for returns is 12 noon Wednesday, 31 May 2017, applications received after this time will not be accepted.
