Talent Match is a Big Lottery Fund project managed by The Prince’s Trust that helps young people aged 18 to 24 who are out of work for more than 12 months.
By providing collective support from a range of local organisations including employers, education providers and others, Talent Match helps young people get the skills and confidence they need to get back into work, education or training.
With Talent Match, young people will get individual one to one support tailored to their needs:-
• Increase self-confidence and motivation
• Develop skills for employment
• Gain access to a range of programmes and enterprise initiatives
• Have a range of different experiences and work out what their life goals are
Talent Match Gainsborough benefits from the close relationship with Voluntary Centre Services who manage the project locally. This provides excellent opportunities for not only volunteering but for networking in the wider community. Based in the Guildhall, Talent Match is ideally placed in the centre of West Lindsey District Council to access the Job Centre, Citizen’s advice, Housing, Council Tax and the public access computer suite.
