A new fund to benefit children and young people living within the West Lindsey District Council area, derived from a joint investment between the Foundation and The Rural Youth Project (Market Rasen) is making funds available to groups and individuals to help young people aged 8-17 years old, but with a focus on the teenage years, and grants will be made to promote positive activities and help young people achieve their goals and ambitions.
Grants of between £50 and £500 are available to help young people participate in activities not usually accessible to them, or to improve their quality of life. Grants may include the costs for equipment, visits and events, training and accreditation and (in some cases) running costs, including small emergency shortfalls. Some funds may also be made available to individuals.
The deadlines for receipt of applications are on 15 March, June, September and December in each year. Decisions to be notified within a month of the closing date.
Eligible groups will have a set of rules, relevant policies and bank account.
