The Pre-school Learning Alliance is a leading educational charity specialising in the Early Years. We provide practical support to over 15,000 Early Years settings and make a positive contribution to the care and education of over 800,000 young children and their families each year. Pre-school are seeking to fill the following vacancies within Lincolnshire.

Best Start Lincolnshire – Skills Development Officers x 2

This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team working across Lincolnshire Children’s Centres to deliver Best Start Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will work with parents of 0-19 year olds to plan tailored Skills Development support packages and support parents as they progress towards positive outcomes such as learning, volunteering and employment. Officers also recruit, retain and support parent volunteers for the Alliance’s Children’s Centre volunteer programme and encourage them to play an active part in Children Centres and the community.  Producing verbal and written reports and collecting and monitoring data using various IT programs is essential for this role.

You will work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team following Lincolnshire County Council and Pre-school Learning Alliance policies and procedures.

Successful candidates will hold a relevant qualification to a minimum of level 3 and have a passion for working towards improved outcomes for all families.

A comprehensive induction and support package will be provided to the successful applicants.

Post1: 1 role of 20 hours per week (52 weeks a year) based in Gainsborough working in Lincoln and West Lindsey

Post 2: 1 role of 16 hours per week (52 weeks a year) based in Stamford Children’s Centre working in north and South Kesteven

Salary: £17,690.40 – £19,000.80 per annum pro rata

Mileage, from an agreed base, is paid at 35 p per mile.    This is a fixed term post until 30th June 2020.
