Vacancy: Community Development Worker at Community Lincs

We wish to appoint a Community Development Worker to support the delivery of our services across Lincolnshire.

Post Ref No: CDW17   21 hours per week, £22,000 pa pro rata, 25 days leave pro rata, company pension.

We are looking for an experienced Community Development Worker who understands the issues faced by rural communities and who has the skills to help them overcome significant obstacles to their well-being, including poor access to services and opportunities.  If you have a creative mind, exceptional interpersonal skills and a good track record in working with communities, why not work with us on the next chapter in your career?

The main objectives of this role are to:

  • Identify needs within communities by consulting and engaging with a wide range of people.
  • Help identify and set up sustainable solutions to long term issues through community-led programmes and projects.
  • Support the Community Lincs’ marketing and social media activity to help us better connect with communities across the county.

The position is for a fixed term of one year but may be extended subject to funding
