Vacancy: Volunteer Co-ordinator and Support Officer

30 hours (4 Days) per week, £23,000 pa pro rata.

Do you have a passion for volunteering and a desire to help older people live satisfying and fulfilling lives? Then you could be just the person for the role of T.E.D in East Lindsey Volunteer Co-ordinator and Support Officer.

Community Lincs are looking for someone to support the T.E.D. Project Team in the development and implementation of the Talk, Eat and Drink in East Lindsey Project, with a particular focus on volunteering. You will develop and maintain volunteer policies and protocols and work with the rest of the team to recruit, train and support volunteers across the project area. This role also includes supporting the project’s sub-groups, and support to the Project Manager with the contract management of commissioned services.

Experience and enthusiasm are more important than qualifications, together with excellent language and communication skills. This is a role offering the potential for personal development for the right person.

The position is funded until March 2021 and will be based in Sleaford, however you will also be required to work in the satellite office in Horncastle and attend meetings in Lincolnshire.
