Dianne has been Area Co-ordinator at VCS Lincoln since 2006. In this time, she has worked on a number of high profile projects, including: the vinvolved youth programme, ESF-funded training programmes, the DWP volunteering programme and the Transforming Local Infrastructure project. She currently chairs the Volunteering Greater Lincolnshire alliance, a sub-group within Involving Lincs, which champions and promotes volunteering across the county. She is experienced in project management and has day-to-day responsibility for the Lincoln office, its staff, volunteers and performance. She has recently worked on an ERDF-funded Business Support Programme, which helped charities, CIOs and sole traders grow their businesses within the voluntary and community sector. She has worked with Anglian Water and Digital Outreach on externally funded initiatives and regularly provides local organisations with networking opportunities, training and policy advice and support.
Prior to 2006, Dianne worked in local government for 19 years, in various roles as a Chartered Librarian, Manager and NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier. She has an Honours degree in Library and Information Studies from Loughborough University and a Diploma in Theology and Ministry Studies from Lincoln University. She is a CTLLS (Level 4) qualified trainer, a Workplace Learning Advocate and an Investing in Volunteers (IiV) Advisor. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering as a Street Pastor and undertaking a range of church and community activities.
