Liz is a Senior Research Fellow in the Enterprise Research and Development Unit at Lincoln Business School. She has expertise in data analysis and modelling, survey and interview consultation, and use of geographical information systems. She is experienced in research into regional and local economic development, labour markets, business development and clustering, as well as strategy development and project evaluation. Before joining the University of Lincoln, she worked as a Research Officer for the Learning and Skills Council. She has also worked in a research and performance management role for two district authorities in Lincolnshire.
Liz is a full-time researcher focusing on issues related to economic development, business support, skills and labour markets, and small business. Her research focuses on policy orientated research, which she has undertaken on behalf of a range of government organisations, as well as disseminating research outputs via conferences and journals. Liz has undertaken projects on behalf of Local Enterprise Partnerships, Learning and Skills Council, European Commission, Information Commissioner’s Office, EMDA, Lincolnshire County Council, amongst others.
